The Chambolle-Musigny La Combe d’Orveau is one of the hidden gems of Cote de Nuits.

"The 2012 Chambolle-Musigny La Combe d’Orveau was taken directly from barrel on the lees. It has a perfumed bouquet with dried petals infusing the lifted fresh strawberry and red cherry scents that build in volume in the glass. The palate is underpinned by a sorbet-like freshness, very fine tannins and concludes with a satisfying, feminine and refined finish. What a lovely wine this will be!  "

The Domaine Anne Gros covers 6.5 hectares in and around Vosne-Romanée where she is located. She has three grand crus – Richebourg, Echezeaux and Clos de Vougeot – but no premier crus.

On village level there is Vosne-Romanée, Les Barreaux, and Chambolle-Musigny, La Combe d'Orveau, and then there is both Bourgogne and Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits in red and white.
