"(...)The 2012 Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru Les Fuées needs a few swirls of the glass to get rid of some reduction, but then there emerges attractive brambly red berry fruit mixed with bay leaf and blood orange scents. It is well defined and focused. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, nicely weighted in the mouth, just a pinch of sea salt lending some edginess on the finish. (...)"

The Château de Chambolle-Musigny in the Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier has been in the Mugnier family since 1863.

From 2004 he has taken back the Nuits St Georges Clos de la Maréchale vineyard, on lease to Faiveley since 1950. 

The Domaine is the second largest owner of le Musigny.
