The Chambolle-Musigny La Combe d’Orveau is one of the hidden gems of Cote de Nuits.

Allen Meadows writes: "A pretty and fresh nose of both red and blue pinot fruit, spice hints and a touch of wood toast leads to delicious and quite supple and forward flavors that evidence an attractive mineral streak on the delicious if not overly complex finish. This is appealing in its fashion."

INFORMATIONS ABOUT THE ESTATE

The Domaine Anne Gros covers 6.5 hectares in and around Vosne-Romanée where she is located. She has three grand crus – Richebourg, Echezeaux and Clos de Vougeot – but no premier crus.

On village level there is Vosne-Romanée, Les Barreaux, and Chambolle-Musigny, La Combe d'Orveau, and then there is both Bourgogne and Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits in red and white.
