"The 2012 Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru Les Cazetiers from Maison Faiveley is more backward on the nose with woodland, tree bark aromas infusing the red berry fruit that gain intensity quite rapidly in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent ripe tannin, crisp acidity and a lively, quite peppery finish that has plenty of character. It lingers tenderly in the mouth long after the wine has departed. Bon vin."
