The 2015 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Lavaux Saint-Jacques wafts from the glass with a complex bouquet of cherry, raspberry, raw cocoa, wood smoke, orange rind and bass notes of sweet grilled meat. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and ample, with moderate concentration, bright acids and a supple attack, which segues into a more assertively tannic finish that lends this a degree of rusticity.(...)"
