 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Clos Saint-Jacques, (...) There is energy being emitted from the glass here even before you dig your nose in! The palate is medium-bodied with very fine tannin. It comes replete with vibrant red fruit infused with orange rind, white pepper, almost sorbet-like towards the composed and very tensile finish that has impressive depth and a very long aftertaste. (....) This is an outstanding Clos Saint-Jacques from Sylvie Esmonin. (NM)"

Sylvie Esmonin is an energetic and passionate winemaker, and an avid traditionalist. The domaine is fully organic but not certified.

The estate comprises five hectares in Gevrey-Chambertin, with a sizeable plot of the Premier Cru Clos St-Jacques just behind the family house’s garden!
