"The nose is exploding with red berry fruit and spices – notes of raspbarries, strawberries, cinnamon, gooseberries and all spice. On the palate rich organic red fruit – intense and foucused by the quite impressive expression of the Clos de Beze terroir and the lovely crisp 2008 acidity. Really love the combination of the acidity driven vintage and the rich organic style of Prieure-Roch."

INFORMATIONS ABOUT THE ESTATE

Based in Prémeaux, Domaine Prieuré Roch has a total of 14 hectares of vines of which approximately 12 are in the Côte de Nuits, mainly in the Nuits-Saint-Georges appellation.

The vines are farmed organically with half an eye on biodynamics. The grapes are vinified with all their stems in wooden vats.
