"(...) The 1983, undoubtedly the finest Kirwan made during the eighties, exhibits a dark ruby/garnet color with some amber at the edge. The nose reveals interesting scents of smoked herbs, charcoal, black currants and weedy tobacco. This medium-bodied, rustic as well as corpulent style of Kirwan has plenty of body and flesh. (...)"

Château Kirwan enjoys a worldwide reputation thanks to its exceptional terroir, the high technology applied out in the vineyards and in the winemaking.
