"The 2009 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Beaux Monts, which had been opened that morning by Cécile, offers ripe red and blackberry fruit with kirsch, leather and dried flowers on the nose that gives away a bit of warmth. The palate is medium-bodied with candied red fruit on the opening, Moroccan spice, white pepper and sage, sporting impressive depth on the finish. (...)"
