"(...) It has a deep, very well defined bouquet with dark cherry, blackcurrant and incense that unfolds to reveal hidden, deeply ingrained mineralite, though it remains bashful and introspective. The palate is very well balanced with supple, rounded, silky smooth tannins on the entry, fine weight in the mouth with nicely judged acidity. (...)"

INFORMATIONS ABOUT THE ESTATE

Domaine d'Eugénie is the reincarnation of the famed Domaine Engel.

Eugénie estate was born following the acquisition of René Engel estate by François Pinault during the summer 2006. The estate is situated in Vosne-Romanée, in the heart of La Côte de Nuits between Nuits-Saint-Georges and Gevrey Chambertin.

Château Latour President Frédéric Engerer also directs the new Domaine Eugénie along with his second in command, régisseur Michel Mallard.
