"It has closed down to some extent, but the 2010 Providence is made in a distinctive style with meaty charcuterie notes intermixed with spicy pepper, black currants, mocha, espresso roast and forest floor. This full-bodied, dense, rich wine was difficult to penetrate, but nevertheless, it has impressive richness, texture and length. (...)"

INFORMATIONS ABOUT THE ESTATE

Providence is located in the heart of Pomerol, on the plateau. The estate has a long history in Pomerol with records dating back to at least the late 1800’s.

However, the modern era begins when Providence was acquired by Ets. Jean-Pierre Moueix from the Dupony family.

This property consists of 7 hectares of 30 year-old Merlot vines that lie in a single parcel on the plateau of Pomerol, adjacent to some of the greatest names of the appellation
