'This is also ripe and very pinot with a bit more earth influence in the pretty mix of black and blue aromas that merge into spicy, sweet and intense flavors that possess excellent volume on the more structured and intense finish. The balance isn’t quite as good but the intrinsic qualitative difference is marginal'.

The TAUPENOT-MERME Domaine is located in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, in Morey Saint Denis, and cultivates 13 Ha of vines spread over 20 appellations in the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits. 

The goal at Domaine Taupenot-Merme is to produce wines with complex but pure flavors, paying respect to their terroirs.
