Cabernet Sauvignon Gold reserve 2002 - Carmen

Tasting notes

This Cabernet runs tight but herbal, with aromas of earth, tree bark and leather but not much in the way of lively fruit.

Flavors of plums and berries seem a touch stewy, while the finish is bulky and mildly tannic. In Carmen's defense, 2002 was a wet, cool year by Chilean standards.
