Syrah du Valais Cayas Reserve 2009 - Jean-René Germanier

Tasting notes

"On the palate this is a smooth, intense and elegant Syrah with rather red fruit aromas, and an enormous length and ripeness. It is rather smooth and very finessed on the palate, lacks a bit of freshness, grip and tension, indicating a first maturity. The finish is long and aromatic, but seems less reductive than younger vintages. It is prefect to drink today but shouldn't be kept for long."
