Tasting notes

Based in the village of Torroja, Terroir al Limit represents the vanguard in a newly energized Priorat. The Dits del Terra vineyard cuvee (from 83-year-old vines) is 100% Carinena from a south facing site that is aged for 24 months in 18 HL foudres. 

These wines are exciting and a revelation for what is possible in one of Spain's most beautiful and difficult regions to cultivate grapes in Priorat.

Tasting notes Stephen Tanzer: "Aromas of black raspberry and currant are somehow heady yet youthfully restrained. Juicy, concentrated and penetrating, with a fresh, cool cherry flavor and a lovely light touch. Finishes firmly tannic, vibrant and persistent."

INFORMATIONS ABOUT THE ESTATE

In 2000 when Eben Sadie and Dominik Huber first met at Mas Martinet, then with the help of the Pérez family of Mas Martinet, Eben and Dominik purchased some fruit and leased a little corner in the cellar of Cims de Porrera where they vinified their first vintage of Dits del Terra in 2001.
