"Not surprisingly the 2012 Chambertin is the deepest and richest of the Duband Chambertins. A huge core of fruit runs through the wine. Broad, ample and creamy on the palate, the 2012 impresses for its breadth and hugely inviting personality. Violets, spices and saline notes invigorate the finish. There is plenty of class and elegance here."

Starting with very small family holdings David, together with his business partner Francois Feuillet, have added to his portfolio of wines through the purchase of some exceptional old Grand cru vineyards throughout Gevrey Chambertin and Morey St Denis.
