"Many white Burgundies from this vintage already have one foot in the grave, but Vincent Dancer's 2005 Meursault Les Grands Charrons is aging beautifully and indeed starts out a touch reduced, opening in the glass to reveal attractive aromas of crisp orchard fruit, sesame, pastry cream and confit citrus. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and enveloping, it's a textural, layered wine that remains dynamic and vibrant as it closes in on its twentieth birthday."

INFORMATIONS ABOUT THE ESTATE

Vincent Dancer cultivates 6 hectares of land across Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault, Pommard and Beaune, family vines that he took up in 1996 after his oenology training.

He got things going on his own at the family property, where he went on to build a winery in 1997. Since 2012, his vines have had organic certification.

Vincent Dancer has shown himself to be talented and creative in his work, particularly succeeding in the maturation of his cuvées. His wines are remarkable, characterised by their purity and finesse.
