Pinot Noir 2009 - Weingut Daniel & Marta Gantenbein

Tasting notes

From the today's 5 hectares of Pinot the couple produces just one single wine: the blue labeled Gantenbein Pinot Noir. It is one of the rare Swiss Pinots that is available world wide.

"Fascinating and from a very warm year, it is silky, fresh and firm on the palate, with a tight structure and refreshing tannins. This is a long and tensioned Pinot with lingering salinity and mineral tension. It is slightly dry on the finish but very gastronomic. Another beautiful Pinot from the Gantenbeins. "
