Clos de la Roche Grand Cru 2016 - domaine Dujac

Tasting notes
"A restrained and almost mute nose only grudgingly displays its blend of various red berries, herbal tea, spice and pretty floral and sandalwood wisps. There is terrific intensity to the sleek and beautifully delineated flavors that possess evident power if perhaps not the density I'm otherwise used to seeing on the stony, deep and long finish.  (...)"

INFORMATIONS ABOUT THE ESTATE

Domaine Dujac in Burgundy was acquired by Jacques Seysses in 1967.
The core of what is today Domaine Dujac, was the Domaine Marcel Graillet in Morey St.Denis. It was not a large domaine, covering about 4.5 hectares, but it included vines in such prime locations as Clos de la Roche, Clos St.Denis and Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Combottes.
