Imperial Rot is a blend of Bordeaux varieties accompanied by some local flavors and taste of Blaufrankisch. It is one of the finest blend of this region, carefully picked by hand in small boxes and aged in small oak barrels for 15 months.

INFORMATIONS ABOUT THE ESTATE

SCHLOSS HALBTURN cultivates about 50 hectares, divided into two vineyards (Jois Jungenberg with about 8 hectare and Wittmannshof in Halbturn with about 42 hectare).

Longer ageing in barrels and bottles and the introduction of most of the red wines to the market not earlier than four years after the harvest make the wine ready for drinking right away.
