Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru 2012 - domaine Dujac

Tasting notes

"(...) It has a delightful bouquet that will surely be a joy once bottled: bright and vivacious red cherries and fresh strawberry fruit that contain so much energy. The palate is well balanced with supple tannins, the fruit profile here leaning slightly towards blacker side with a structured finish that is more “serious” than the aromatics suggest. (...)"

INFORMATIONS ABOUT THE ESTATE

Domaine Dujac in Burgundy was acquired by Jacques Seysses in 1967.
The core of what is today Domaine Dujac, was the Domaine Marcel Graillet in Morey St.Denis. It was not a large domaine, covering about 4.5 hectares, but it included vines in such prime locations as Clos de la Roche, Clos St.Denis and Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Combottes.
