Tasting notes

"A beautifully layered, even perfumed nose of plum, underbrush and very ripe red currant merges into seductively textured but firm and powerful flavors blessed with an abundance of structure-buffering extract on the mouth coating finish. This is a notably robust effort that is given shape by the very firm but buried tannins and I like the excellent balance. This big-bodied effort really fans out on the gorgeously long finish and it should be capable of aging very well over the next 12 to 15 years."
