The Chambolle-Musigny La Combe d’Orveau is one of the hidden gems of Cote de Nuits.

William Kelley writes: "(...)the 2017 Chambolle-Musigny La Combe d'Orveau that they saved is very pretty, offering up aromas of raspberries, plums, warm spices and rose petals. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, satiny and succulent, with lovely purity of fruit and a bright, mineral finish."

INFORMATIONS ABOUT THE ESTATE

The Domaine Anne Gros covers 6.5 hectares in and around Vosne-Romanée where she is located. She has three grand crus – Richebourg, Echezeaux and Clos de Vougeot – but no premier crus.

On village level there is Vosne-Romanée, Les Barreaux, and Chambolle-Musigny, La Combe d'Orveau, and then there is both Bourgogne and Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits in red and white.
