Beaune le clos du roi 1961 - Coron père et fils

Tasting notes

In their efforts to promote only the highest quality burgundy, the Confrérie instituted a wine competition in 1950 wherein the very best wines would be entitled to carry a very distinctive label called Tastevin.

This elaborate, colorful label is supposed to be given only to those wines that reflect their appellation and are irrefutably of high quality.
