Tasting notes

"Medium-full colour. A little tannin and a bit of new oak on the nose. No great grip, however. Medium to medium-full body. Better grip on the palate than the nose would suggest. Quite rich. Good fat for 2006. Plenty of depth. Positive finish. Fine for the vintage. From 2014."

INFORMATIONS ABOUT THE ESTATE

Michel, the eldest of Jean Gros’ children, took over running the family domaine fresh from wine school in 1975, on account of his father’s ill health.

Today, he is the owner and grower of Clos des Réas (Monopole) and Clos de Vougeot, which he inherited from his father, and additionally purchased properties in Vosne-Romanée, Nuits-St-Georges Les Chaliots, Chambolle-Musigny and Morey-Saint-Denis.
