Brancaia IL BLU is distinguished for its elegance, complexity and intensity. It is a blend of 50% Sangiovese, 45% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Tasting notes: Colour is still dark cherry colour, it is fresh and full bodied wine with complex flavours  of raspberry and cherry and a long end.

La Brancaia, encompassing the two estates Brancaia and Poppi, has been owned by the Swiss couple Brigitte and Bruno Widmer since 1981.

The Il Blu, a blend of 50 % Sangiovese, 45 % Merlot and 5 % Cabernet Franc, is the best wine from this small property.
