"Dark ruby-garnet. Amazing aromas of crushed raspberry and blueberry. So aromatic. Like kir. Full-bodied, with silky, almost chewy tannins and a long, long finish. Just starting to come around. Port-like and beautiful. This was our No. 4 wine in 2001. Still the greatest Vino Nobile ever made.--1997 Italian blind retrospective. Drink now. 2,600 cases made. (Web Only - 2007) (JS)"
