Tasting notes

Flavors of well-worn leather, fall leaves, raspberry, and violets emerge from the glass. The nose is more savory while the red fruits burst through on the palate. There is a perfect interplay between vegetal, fruit, and savory flavors here. Structure from the barrel aging ensures that this has a long life ahead of it.

A little over twenty years ago, Jacques Tatasciore took over the Domaine de la Rochette, in Cressier (Neuchâtel), with the ambition of producing great Pinot Noir wines that reflect their terroir with finesse and elegance, like great Burgundy wines.

He works with 3 cuvées: Les Rissieux, Les Margiles and Vieilles Vignes, in extremely limited quantities.
