"(from a .7 ha parcel that was partially replanted in 1985 and the remainder in 1989). Here the wood influence is very subtle and easily allows the fresh, ripe and pretty aromas of pure red berries, jasmine tea, hoisin and anise. The delicious and vibrant if less concentrated medium weight flavors possess a lovely inner mouth perfume while exhibiting good length on the slightly edgy finale. I suspect that the edginess will round out with time in bottle. "

INFORMATIONS ABOUT THE ESTATE

This property, run by Bernard Gros, is one of three wine domaines owned by the Gros family.

They have been wine growers in Vosne-Romanée since 1830. The estate has 21 hectares and displays 4 grands crus,  Richebourg, Clos de Vougeot, Echezeaux Grands Echezeaux.

His Clos Vougeot-Musigni for example, is at the premier top of the cru just beneath the slope of Musigny, hence the name.
