"Noticeable but not dominant wood influence frames the well-layered nose of various dark berries, freshly turned earth and hints of leather and game. There is good mid-palate concentration to the velvety and mouth coating flavors that terminate in an oaky and mildly warm but complex finish. This should also reward 10 to 12 years of cellaring."
