Château Latour Martillac owes its name to the tower(la Tour) which adorns its main courtyard, dating from the 12th century.

The white wines from Château Latour Martillac are surprinsing by their delicacy, their complexity and their amazing aptitude of ageing.

Like the great Pessac-Léognan, the red wines of Château Latour Martillac are harmonious, well-balanced and elegant.

Production : 120’000 bottles ;

Superficie : 28 ha (red), 10 ha (white) ;

Age of the vines : 25 years (red), 35 years (white);

Second wine : Legrave-Martillac;

Wine variety : 60% cabernet sauvignon, 35% merlot 5% petit verdot;

Best vintages (red) : 2011, 2010, 2009, 2005.
