"This offers a marked step up in complexity if not refinement with its expressive and cool nose of red currants, anise, wet stone, floral elements and a distinct sauvage character. There is obvious minerality to the delicious and sleekly muscular middle weight plus flavors that are supported by relatively fine-grained tannins, all wrapped in a beautifully persistent, balanced and mouth coating finish. This is classic Pougets, which is to say a Corton of finesse."
