Tasting notes

Mid crimson – quite healthy colour. Evolved nose. Quite complete – spreads alluringly over the palate. Still quite a bit of tannin there even though the fruit seems almost fully evolved. Maybe this wine will always have a slight excess of astringence - just a little awkward.

Château Gigault was created in 1998, which is located in the Premieres Cotes de Blaye. Christophe Reboul Saze, the owner, named cuvée Viva from Château Gigault after his late daughter who passed away that same year in 1998.
