Château Giscours 1988 "is  an extremely overripe wine, with aromas of prunes, peaches, and apricots. Loosely structured, sweet and flabby, this plump wine does not have the tannin necessary to give it grip."

The production of Chateau Giscours is close to 25,000 cases per year. There is a second wine, La Sirene de Giscours.

Today, a portion of their vineyards are farmed using biodynamic techniques. That is expected to increase over the next few years.

Plantation density : 8'300 vines / ha;

Age of the vines : 30 years;

Second wine : La Sirène de Giscours;

Wine variety : 65% cabernet sauvignon, 30% merlot, 5% cabernet franc;

Best vintages : 2010, 2009, 2005, 2000, 1978, 1975.
