Tasting notes

Gorgeous notes of hazelnuts, apricots, salted almonds, lemons and pistachio shells. Medium to full body with opulence, yet elegance, and a silky quality to the bubbles. Saline and gourmand finish. Nutty and light French-butter notes come through. Only 2,000 bottles. Drink or hold.

INFORMATIONS ABOUT THE ESTATE

The Giraud house is one of the few houses that conduct primary fermentations in oak.

The overall production is limited to 250,000 bottles a year, making the Giraud Champagne stand apart from the major producers. 

Described by leading wine critic Robert Parker as "the finest Champagne house virtually no one has ever heard of". The reason for this being that until the 1990s their wines were only sold directly to discerning, well-informed private customers in France and Italy
